So, last night was the premiere episode of Sunday Night Fiction Club, the new show I'm co-hosting with writer Melissa Lummis. How did it go?
Well, I had a blast! We talked about good and bad movie adaptations of books. We also did a lot of laughing along the way. If viewers enjoy watching this even 1/10th as much as I enjoyed doing it, then that will make me happy.
Melissa and I will be doing Sunday Night Fiction Club each and every Sunday night at 10PM EST. We'll mainly talk about fiction, hence the title. (Oooh, I love using the word 'hence.' It's hard to work into every day life, but it's easy to work into blog postings!)
Aside from books, we'll also be discussing movies, TV, music and other things. Our goal is to delve (almost as cool a word as 'hence') into different pop culture topics each week. We'll have occasional guests, do some Q&A's, and other fun things.
That last part is our most important goal for this show: WE'RE GOING TO HAVE FUN!!!
Part of that fun will be having you (yes, YOU!) join us and be part of our Sunday Night Fiction Club. We encourage our friends/viewers/bill collectors (well, maybe not that last one) to participate in the shows. If you watch the show live, you can leave live comments and we can interact with you. If you watch it later, well, we'll be checking those comments later too.
On the next show, we'll be talking about Sick Day Reads And Movies. Which books and movies do you like to go back to over and over again on days when you're not feeling so great? Or even on lazy days when you just don't feel like doing anything? Feel free to comment here, if you'd like. I love getting comments.
To connect with me in other places, well, look to the right of the screen (OVER THERE-----------> KIND OF UP A LITTLE BIT, BUT STILL, OVER THERE--->)
To connect with Melissa, there are several ways. You can go here to her awesome website or you can follow her here on Twitter. If you're one of those Facebook people, well, you're my kinda people! Connect with Melissa on Facebook here!
If you've read this far and still haven't watched the above video, well, thanks...but go and watch the video. I hope you enjoy it and join us next Sunday for our next episode.
Have a great week!

I am totally excited about this show, too, Buddy. I've been looking for a way to channel my compulsion to ramble on about...well, everything. ;-) And I can't think of a better pal to do it with. :-D
