Like A Rolling Stone...
I can't say that The Rolling Stones are one of my favorite musical acts of all time, but it's incredible how long they've been around and how many great songs they've put out over the years.
It's been awhile since I've done the "What's your favorite song by..." thing here, so now I'm going to do it for The Stones.
So tell me, what's your favorite song(s) by The Rolling Stones?

Vacation!
Well, I'm four days into my vacation and so far it's been pretty good.
The first day was great. I went to my brother's new house to celebrate his daughter Amber's 6th birthday. It was a great party - everyone had a fun time. Also that day, I got to see the Eagles badly beat the Cowboys. I was VERY happy about that! Afterwards, I had a nice quiet night at home with my girlfriend. All in all, it was damned close to being a perfect day.
The next day wasn't as great. Due to the extreme fluctuations in the weather here, my allergies were driving me crazy that day. I was all stuffed up and felt like a zombie all day. I didn't do much of anything but sleep, read, and watch tv. (Which, in retrospect, isn't really a bad way to spend a day off.)
Tuesday was also pretty laid back. I slept late, then did some lawn work, and then went to the library. I love libraries. (Yeah, I'm geeky that way.) I picked up 4 cds and a couple of books. Then I had dinner with my girlfriend and my family and spent most of the night with my girlfriend.
Yesterday was also nice. My girlfriend came over and helped me do some cleaning. Then we vegged out in front of the tv and watched several episodes of the dvd set of the 4th season of SCRUBS, which she just bought for me as an early Christmas present. My girlfriend is awesome. :-)
Today I plan to write a lot. I'm far behind where I want to be on my novel and I need to start devoting a lot more time to it. Thankfully I've got 5 more days of vacation left. I'm hoping to get a LOT of writing done this week.
That's all for now. See ya around....
