Bud Gott's Amazing Blog-O-Rama!

A few weeks ago I bought a great white (not like the shark) DKNY shirt. I like it a lot and damn it, I have to admit it looks damned good on me.

The problem is, the shirt seems to be cursed. It seems like every time I wear it, I spill something on it. For instance, just today I spilled both coffee and soda on it.

It's not that I'm usually uncoordinated. I'm usually very un-uncoordinated. It just happens when I wear this damned new shirt. If I have to spill things on myself, why can't it be when I'm wearing an old t-shirt or something like that?

Good grief...

I know we're still officially a few weeks away from the end of Summer, but with Labor Day approaching, it certainly feels like Summer is ending.

I have to say, it wasn't one of the best Summers I've ever had. I didn't make it to the beach at all, which I'm pretty sure makes it the first Summer that's ever not happened for me. Oh well...

Most of this Summer it was so damned hot and humid around here. I'm looking forward to Fall. Fall and Spring are probably my favorite times of the year now.

I haven't been spending enough time at McLaren's bar lately...This Summer has flown by incredibly quickly. I haven't even been to the beach yet. However, I don't work this coming weekend, so I might go then.

I've been getting into the tv show MONK recently. Prior to a few weeks ago, I'd only seen the show once or twice. Now I'm really digging it a lot...

Actor Bruno Kirby died a few days ago. It's a shame. He was a pretty good actor, but I read an interview with him years ago and I finished it with me thinking that he seemed like kind of a jerk. Ever since then, I didn't like him as much as an actor. I know people should separate performers' personal lives from their professional lives, but if I don't like a performer as a person, then I have a hard time liking them professionally. I'm the same way with Axel Rose and some others...

When people ask me who my favorite actress is, I usually say Goldie Hawn. Not that she's the greatest actress of all time, but she's still pretty damned great.

How could someone not like Goldie Hawn? She's cute and she seems like she's very cool. Also, she's got one of the best laughs I've ever heard.

A little while ago, I heard Aerosmith's "Crazy" on the radio. I've heard the song probably a thousand times on the radio, yet I've never gotten tired of it.

Aerosmith is one of America's truly classic rock bands. They've got so many great songs and they still release great material.

So, what are your favorite Aerosmith songs?

I saw it yesterday. It was pretty good, but not great. I laughed a lot, enjoyed the cast, etc., but I wouldn't pay to see it again in the theaters. I'll definitely rent it though when it comes out on dvd.

A word about Kate Hudson...she reminded me a lot of her mom (Goldie Hawn) in this. Her body is very similar to Goldie's body when she was young.

In other words - very hot.
