Favorite And Least Favorite Remakes

So, I've been listening to The Goo Goo Dolls' latest cd and one of my favorites on it is their remake of Supertramp's "Give A Little Bit." I like it even more than the original.

Which leads me to ask...what remakes do you like more than the original versions?

Also, what are your least favorite remakes?

Bud's Babe Of The Week: Lynda Carter

I keep reading that Hollywood wants to make a new WONDER WOMAN movie. The main problem though is that they're having a hard time finding the right actress to play the role.

I'll tell you, I don't see how they'd ever be able to top Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman. Tall, beautiful, fantastic body, etc. Lynda Carter was perfect for the part.

My Space (My Final Frontier?)

Well, you've all heard about MySpace.com. It's incredibly popular.

A few of my friends have sites there and I thought I'd try it, too. Like I need another website, huh? I've already got 4 of them. Oh, what the hell? I may as well make it an even 5. (And yes, I know 5 is an odd, not an even number. It just sounded good, okay?)

MySpace seems kind of fun. I like their friends, pictures, and comments features and other things about it. It looks like a cool place to have a website and I can see why it's as popular as it is.

Fear not, dear reader - Buddy's Gott's Blog Place isn't going away. (Yeah, like you were going to lose sleep over the idea of that.) This will still be my main website and I'll do most of my postings here.

Still, nonetheless (and nonethemore, for that matter) I'm also going to have a new space at My Space.

If you'd like to check it out, please go to Bud Gott's MySpace Space. Thanks!

About A Person I'd Like To Do Great Physical Harm To...

So, I was at work yesterday and I got a call saying that someone had left a dog alone locked up in a car with the windows rolled up. It was close to 90 degrees outside. The caller told me that the dog looked like it was in bad shape. Apparently it had been in the car for at least an hour at that point.

How can someone do this to their own pet?!?! I was furious. I went to my store's intercom system and nicely (it was a struggle)made an announcement asking the person to return to their car as soon as possible.

Thankfully they heard me and quickly came to their car to take care of their dog. They brought water to it. Gosh, how darned nice of them, huh? They were lucky that their dog wasn't dead from the heat by the time they got there!

What the hell were these people thinking? People like that shouldn't be allowed to have pets.

Rest In Peace, Exidor!

The news is just starting to spread that actor Richard Donner passed away on June 8th at the age of 75.

Donner was awesome as Exidor on MORK AND MINDY. He played a lot of various roles over his long career, but he'll always be Exidor to me.

Rest well, Exidor!

Bud's Babe Of The Week - Jennifer Love Hewitt

I've liked Jennifer ever since PARTY OF FIVE (which was a fantastic show.)

What's not to like about her? She's incredibly cute, has an awesome body, and she's a good actress.

By the way, if you've never seen her show GHOST WHISPERER, you should watch it sometime. It's pretty entertaining.

Random Stuff

I've been getting back into exercising lately. My usual exercising schedule is like a lot of people's - I barely exercise at all during the cold months but I do a lot of it during the warm months. I've been back into it now for a couple of weeks and I'm feeling good. The arms are starting to get a little bigger and the belly is starting to get a little smaller.

One of my favorite forms of exercising is walking. I've always loved to walk. Maria and I have gone a few times during the past week. We've been averaging around 2 miles per walk. My favorite place to walk is the Battery Park in New Castle, DE. If you live in this area, you should go there sometime. It's a great place.

Other stuff...

I'm getting psyched for the new movie SUPERMAN RETURNS. It looks like a really good one!

Also, I'm very much digging the new Goo Goo Dolls song "Stay With You." It rocks.

666!

I don't see what all the hubub is about. The devil doesn't look all that scary to me.

Happy 6/6/06, everyone!

Night Moves Should Only Happen At Night

I was driving around the other afternoon and I heard Bob Seger's "Night Moves" on the radio. I love the song, but I didn't want to listen to it then.

I think that any songs that have the word "night" in their title should only be played on the radio during the night time. This goes for Seger's song, Steve Winwood's "Don't You Know What The Night Can Do," and even Alicia Bridge's "I Love The Night Life, I Got To Boogie (On The Disco-A-Round-Ah Ya Ya Ya.)

The night hours just seem to fit those kinds of songs better than day hours do.

Bud's Babe Of The Week: Priscilla Barnes

Even though the most popular seasons of THREE'S COMPANY were the ones with Suzanne Somers, my favorites are the ones with Priscilla Barnes.

What a knockout! Tall, pretty, great body, etc.

I've read that she didn't enjoy being on the show as much as she hoped she would. Too bad for her...but I'm still glad she was on it.
