Jason Mraz: Mr. A-Z

If you want to hear some very good new music, get yourself a copy of Jason Mraz's MR. A-Z cd.

I'd heard a lot about Jason over the last year or so but I hadn't really heard his music until I got this cd.

The disc has barely left my cd player since I got it. It's addicting music. VERY good stuff!

Damn, I Got Pulled Over Last Night

So, I was driving home from my girlfriend's place last night and I got pulled over by a cop. He did it because one of my headlights was out. It went out a couple of nights ago but I hadn't had a chance yet to get a new light bulb for it.

I got just a warning for the headlight but what was worse was that I didn't have my new insurance card with me. I've totally got insurance but my policy just renewed and I just got the new card in the mail last week. I simply forgot to switch the new card with the old (now expired one) one.

The cop said it really won't be a problem. I go to the courthouse with the ticket he gave me, show them my new card, and then the whole thing will be dismissed. There won't be any charges, fines, or points against me.

What sucks though is that's the first time I've ever been pulled over for any reason. My record had been totally spotless since I first got my license. I guess it will still be spotless, but it still sucks...

Psycho School Bus Drivers

I almost got hit by a school bus this morning. I was approaching a stop sign and was going to make a right turn at it. The bus was turning left onto the street I was on. It didn't give itself enough room as it turned and it was coming right at me. To avoid getting hit, I had to drive up on the sidewalk next to me. What an idiot that bus driver was!!! If I hadn't been on my way to work, I would have turned around and taken down the info of the bus and reported the driver.

Sadly, it's a pretty regular thing for me to see school bus drivers do stupid things on the road. Speeding, not using turn signals, and I could go on and on.

I think that everyone who drives professionally should take extra care in following the rules of the road...and I think it's ESPECIALLY true that school bus drivers should. I mean, come on, they're being entrusted with the lives of children. Personally, I think they should lose their jobs if they break the rules.

Happy Belated Birthday To Trogdor!

I just found out that January 13th was Trogdor The Burninator's third birthday. If I'd know it on the 13th, I would have burninated something special in his honor.

For those of you unfamiliar with Trogdor, you can see his classic original appearance here.

For something brand new, the Homestar Runner site has a feature dedicated to Trogdor for his special day. Check out Trogdor's 3rd Birthday - Trogday!!!

I'm Loving Ebay Right About Now

I mentioned here a couple of weeks ago that I've been selling some of my cds on Ebay. I had a rare solo one by Tommy Shaw from Styx called GIRL WITH GUNS end on there this morning.

Like I said, it's rare and very hard to find. I had the bidding start at $25...and the final winning price was $81!!! $81 for just one cd. How cool is that?!?!

What makes it even cooler is that I'm not even losing out on the music on the cd. I've already made a couple of copies of it. So, I've still got the music and I'm $81 ahead on the deal.

Yeah, I'm loving Ebay.

Television Shows You Should Watch Tonight

Two of my favorites are on tonight: SCRUBS and BOSTON LEGAL.

SCRUBS is one of the funniest shows ever on television. Not only is it hilarious, but it can also be very serious. It's sort of like M*A*S*H in that regard.

As for BOSTON LEGAL,well, I've raved about it here before. It's another one that can be both very hilarious and very dramatic. It's also got a fantastic cast. James Spader and William Shatner both do amazing work on there. (And no, I'm not kidding about Shatner. He's really great in his role on the show.)

SCRUBS has two new episodes on tonight at 9:00 and 9:30. BOSTON LEGAL is on at 10:00.

Check 'em out!!!

P.S. - Michael J. Fox is guest-starring on BOSTON LEGAL tonight, so that makes it extra-worth watching.

I Finally Made A Resolution For The New Year

I've decided I'm going to read a lot more this year. Last year I probably read only 5 or 6 books. Not a lot, considering how much I love to read.

Part of this resolution is that I want to branch out and read books by authors I've never read before.

I just finished reading LULLABY TOWN by Robert Crais. Crais is really good. If you've never read him before, you should give him a shot.

I'm Selling A Lot Of Cds On Ebay!

Hey all. I have an addiction and I admit it - I'm a music junkie. I have approximately 1500 cds in my collection and I'm running out of places to put them.

In an effort to make some space (and more importantly, make some money!) I've decided to sell a lot of my cds on Ebay.

I currently have close to 40 cds listed on there and I'm going to be adding a lot more over the next several days.

I've got all kinds of music on there and most of the starting prices are pretty low.

If you'd like to check them out, go to:

Thanks!

Me And The Boys

I met Tim Kramer and Bob Deitrich when we all started high school in the Fall of 1980. It wasn't long before we became best friends.

We all live in different states now and it's very rare that we're able to get together...but I still count these guys as two of my best friends. It's a very unique thing to be able to stay good friends with people as long as we have and I'm grateful for our friendships.

This pic was taken New Year's Eve Day in front of the Iron Hill Brewery in West Chester, PA. Tim's on the left, I'm in the middle, and Bob's on the right.

P.S. to Roach - Sorry you couldn't join us!

A Recent Pic Of Me And Ashley

I'm going to be adding a separate pictures page to this site soon, but in the meantime, here's a recent picture of me with my niece Ashley (and some fish.)
