Well, that was pretty dramatic, huh?
I don't know about an odyssey, but I do plan to make this a very good year for myself with my writing. I'm currently working on a short story which I'm going to publish in the next couple of weeks. That is, if it's still a short story. It looks like it may be taking on the length of a novella, which is fine, of course.
Length-wise, it will be whatever it needs to be. We'll see how it goes. Short story, novella, or even a short novel - I know I can have it done soon. I just have to make it happen. I've got a lot of free time ahead of me this weekend, so I plan to do a LOT of writing.
After this story is done, I've got three other books, all full-length novels that I'm going to work on. All three will be written and published this year.

Well, the short story idea turned out to be better fitted for a novella, so I'm still working on it. Going to do my best to finish it in the next couple of weeks.
