Early December Stuff

So, this wasn’t my year for NaNoWriMo. I didn’t come anywhere close to hitting 50,000 words. Am I upset? Nah. I had a lot of personal things going on and those were a higher priority than writing. Plus, what I was able to write for NaNo is still going to be useable. I’m going to work hard and try to get the story done as fast as I can.

My original writing goal for this year was to have a novel published by the end of the year. I don’t see how that’s possible now unless I put out something that would be of a lower quality than I’d like. There’s no way I’m going to do that.

So, time to change that original goal. The new goal is to finish writing the novel by the end of the year. Very doable.

I’m also toying with writing some short stories and publishing them. I’ve got a couple of ideas that I’m excited about.

It’s going to be a fun month.

You'll get there, Buddy. Nothing wrong with "life" getting in the way sometimes. If we didn't have life we wouldn't have any perspective to write from at all! Good luck on your new goals!
